4 Hemp Pestos Recipes


Combine ingredients in a food processor. They can be kept in the fridge for weeks or months and can be used in pasta, on bread or as a dip.

Simple Basil Hemp Pesto

  • 3 cups chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup hemp oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt 

Lemon Hemp Basil

  • 1/2 cup hulled hempseeds
  • 4 cloves of garlic, halved
  • 3 cups chopped fresh basil
  • 3/4 cup chopped parsley leaves
  • 1/4 cup squeezed lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Classic

  • 3 cups chopped fresh basil
  • 4 cloved glarlic, halved
  • 1/2 cup pine-nuts
  • 1/4 cup hemp oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Hemp Sun Dried Tomato

  • 1/4 cup hulled hempseeds
  • 6 cloves garlic, halved
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, shredded
  • 3 cups chopped fresh basil,
  • 3/4 cups chopped parsley leaves
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
