Hemp Seed Recipe: Energy Bars For Breakfast & Snack

When you do not know what to reach for after training, it is worth choosing something natural. There is nothing better than homemade candy bars.

Why is it worth adding hemp seeds to your diet? First of all, they are rich in essential fatty acids Omega 3.6 as well as easily digestible protein (better than soy). Hemp seeds also contain most of the nutritional minerals – calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iron as well as vitamins with thick B and vitamin E.

So let’s go

  • 1 and 1/2 cups of oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup of raw almonds
  • 1 pack of dried, pitted dates
  • 2 teaspoons of chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of shelled sunflower seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of flax seeds
  • 2 teaspoons of shelled hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup of agave syrup (or honey)

  2. Grind the dates with a blender
  3. In a large bowl, combine all seeds, almonds, oatmeal and dates
  4. Heat the agave syrup and peanut butter. Mix everything thoroughly.
  5. Put the whole mass in a large roasting pan (cover it with baking paper)
  6. Put the dough in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Cut the dough into 10 bars and enjoy the amazing taste
